After quietly releasing the track on SoundCloud back in May, Father John Misty (fronted by Joshua Tillman) has just officially dropped his new song "Real Love Baby," available for streaming on all major platforms. The track, which features Thomas Brenneck of the Budos Band, finds Tillman at his most docile, softly cooing lovelorn, sex-laced lyrics like "I'm the flower, you're the bee" and "I've got real love maybe/ wait until you taste me."

Fitting with the song's late '60s/early '70s nostalgic vibe—a common theme in Tillman's work and Jesus-inspired aesthetic—the colorful single artwork is appropriately psychedelic.

Take a trip with the summery track below, and prepare yourself for ensuing disappointment that you are, in fact, not having an orgiastic experience in a flowery field full of sunshine when the song ends.
