The prospect of a $750 Spongebob Squarepants sweater from Moschino may scare off anyone new to fashion’s wild child Jeremy Scott. The designer’s latest batch of accessories—illustrated smartphone cases created in collaboration with Google—provide a far easier introduction to his wacky and wonderful world.

Available exclusively for Pixel and Nexus smartphones, the six candy-colored cases each feature a confection of cartoon characters dreamt up by Scott—a gangster stack of dollar bills with a gold tooth and a champagne glass drawn as a pinup in a miniskirt and pumps among others. There is the same unmistakable giddiness of his Moschino collections, eponymous line, and Adidas flame sneaker, but the cases are no more flamboyant than many other smartphone accessories on the market.

Scott has long been selling eccentric iPhone covers under Moschino; however, his collaboration with Google goes further. After users snap on their cases, built-in Near Field Communication technology activates an app that allows them to download even more of his zany illustrations as animated “J'emojis” and wallpapers.

Selling for just $40 a pop, the Jeremy Scott Live Case collection is now available online on the Google Store until the end of January 2017.
