After his polarizing yet immensely successful Yeezy Season 4 show, Kanye West has confirmed his next step in the music world. In a pre-runway interview with Vogue, Yeezus finally confirmed speculation that he is recording an album with Drake. The rumors stemmed from a Los Angeles billboard showing West’s G.O.O.D. Music logo alongside Drake’s OVO Sound sign, stating “Calabasas is the new Abu Dhabi.”

“We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio,” West said about Drake and himself. “We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.”

The duo is no stranger to extensive collaboration, with each other or otherwise. The upcoming album would mark the second collaboration album for both rappers. West previously worked with Jay-Z for 2011’s Watch the Throne, while Drake released a surprise mixtape with Future, What a Time To Be Alive, last year.

Sadly, he refused to give an estimated release date. Given the rappers' history with delays and album drops, we could be in for a long wait through next year. Although the inevitable wait will likely be worth it, let's hope we don't reach Frank Ocean levels of desperation.
