Here are some of our best options for a good night of the zzz’s

At the end of a long and hard day, nothing matters more than a good night’s sleep. And, of course, the clothes to get it in. You’d think that any old T-shirt and sweats would suffice, but the perfect sleepwear needs to be comfortable enough to not irritate the skin, yet sturdy enough to take a night of tossing and turning. Plus, based on different metrics of comfort for each person and the weather, the choice is not as easy as you’d think.

That’s why, we have here some of our favorite picks for sleepwear essentials for the VMan. From Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein, to J.Crew and Nautica, there are a variety of options and styles to pick from, so choose wisely and sleep well!

Petite Plume Classic White Twill Pajama Set ($88)

Can’t go wrong with a classic white sleep set (assuming you’re neat enough, of course) in the coziest of fine cotton. It’s a staple of many a wardrobe and makes you feel like you’re tucking in donning garb from a luxury hotel.

Polo Ralph Lauren Pyjama Shorts ($50)

Ralph Lauren’s cotton-jersey shorts are made with comfort in mind, with an elastic waistband and relaxed leg fit. A pair of shorts is an essential for any warm day at home or in bed, and these ones do just the trick.

J.Crew Pajama Set in Cotton Poplin ($80)

Another staple pajama set in a lighter blue that features a slimmer fit and won’t feel like bags of fabric on you each night. They’re light and have a distinctly Jon-Draper-going-to-bed look that makes you feel like a little bit of a 1950s boss.

Schiesser Pyjama Trousers ($55)

Pajama trousers are an item that’s extremely versatile for any person, great for quick errands around the house, a trip to the corner store, and days spent in bed. The tapered fit gives it a snug feel that keeps you warm and looks purposeful in construction.

Tommy John Second Skin Pajama Pack ($116)

It’s the best of the striped pajamas and the solid basics, a combo great for the warmer weather. The Second Skin pajama pack features silky fabric that stretches with you and keeps its shape, able to withstand hard nights and wrinkles.

Nautica 1983 J-Class Sleep T-Shirt ($10)

The great thing about a classic graphic tee is the ability to be able to pair it with anything and for any (well, most) occasions. It’s the kind of shirt that transitions well from a day of WFH to a night of Netflix without breaking a sweat.

David Archy Satin Silky Pajamas Set ($54)

Silk pajamas just have an aura of “I only drink the finest of scotch and smoke the finest of cigars,” but it doesn’t have to be so traditionally masculine. They’re extremely comfortable and airy, making them a form and function hybrid that goes with any combo of sleepwear and any personal style.

Calvin Klein Intense Power Logo Sweatshirt ($52)

This sweatshirt is the soft you’d want to have around you for chillier days and layered WFH outfits. But it’s not the kind of heavy that induces sweat within ten minutes of a temperature rise, a great cotton knit blend.

Sant and Abel Martinique Banana Leaf Print Pajamas ($198)

These banana leaf print pajamas are made of a soft cotton that’ll circulate the air like wind through palm trees. Since we all can’t be at the beach, might as well look like we’re at the beach.

The White Company Cotton Jersey Robe ($85)

Hugh Hefner’s robes are more about the style, these ones are more about the comfort. They’re a great fit to have around for any kind of activity around the house and pair with any of the above sleep sets well (a full circle moment indeed).
