10 Coolest Sneakers to Have in Your Closet This Fall

With new releases from your favorite brands to pairs by lesser-known talents, this fall has a sneaker for everyone.

In comes the cold weather, and along with it, cool new sneakers. An automatic staple for any wardrobe, a clean pair of kicks are hands-down a necessity. This is especially true for the fast-approaching fall season, as life returns to in-person activities. Pretty soon, if not already, you’ll be back to running all around town, from work to home to seeing friends and family—key word here being “running.” What better a footwear companion than the tried and true sneaker. In an array of newly released styles this fall, there is surely a sneaker to fit any and all of your needs. Whether you need a more formal pair for the office or one to impress friends you haven’t seen in a while, there are new sneaks aplenty.

Take your pick from go-to favorite brands like Nike and New Balance, or try a newcomer like Junya Watanabe and Salomon. This fall is all about embracing comfort and practicality, while refusing to leave style behind. So integral are sneakers to fashion, in fact, that Timothée Chalamet even sported a pair of classic white Converse at The Met Gala, as Ella Emhoff wore a pair of Adidas by Stella McCartney. Lucky for us, this staple shoe is no longer reserved for the gym and is clearly fit for any occasion, red carpet included. Ready, set, tie up your laces and hit the ground running this fall.
