21 Savage Stars in Louis Vuitton’s Summer Capsule Collection

In a serene, crisp West Coast landscape, the rapper stands as a muse and pillar of Louis Vuitton’s new collection.

A muse for the artistry of Virgil Abloh and the face of the upcoming summer capsule collection, 21 Savage is the star of the new Louis Vuitton Men’s collection, a dreamy, scenic campaign.

Hitting stores March 19, the release is a bright and buoyant vision of summer paradise: graffiti stains and colorful streaks adorn simple, tailored garments, from trousers and sneakers to duffles and cross-body bags.

Reminiscent of Venice Beach’s skate scene and the artistic prowess of dreamy California, the collection immortalizes the creative genius of both Abloh and the plethora of West Coast artists who inspired the collection.

The infinite is vast in the collection, an unexplored space beckoning Louis Vuitton’s wearers to it. Japanese denims, Hawaiian shirts and monogrammed cottons speak to a laid-back vibe, while embroidered shirts, jacquard blazers and leather jackets are a dusky finish to the collection, a formal take on Hollywood casual.

At the center of it all is 21 Savage, the rap icon and man who encapsulates Abloh’s vision in his music and persona, a free and easy spirit. Endless possibilities are at the core of the collection, culminating in hues of indigo and navy, a bluish twilight falling on the bright summer setting Abloh has created.
