24kGoldn Partners with Project Level to Launch “GOLDN GIVEAWAY” Back-to-School Event

The Bay Area’s very own chart-topping artist, 24kGoldn, will launch a two day back-to-school event that will provide clothing to students from underserved communities to support the youth in his hometown.

Notable Bay Area artist, 24kGoldn, has teamed up with a non-profit arts program to give back to his hometown community. This weekend, 24kGoldn will host his first annual ‘Golden Giveaway’ weekend, aimed at providing clothes to students from underserved communities throughout the Bay Area to help everyone prepare for the back-to-school season.

24kGoldn has partnered with San Francisco-based non-profit arts program, Project Level, to launch this initiative. The two-day back-to-school event will work to supply students across the Bay Area with quality gear from the event’s official sponsors, which includes many notable Bay Area organizations. The sponsors list includes partners like the Golden State Warriors basketball team, the San Francisco Giants baseball team, Shoe Palace, Cookies Clothing, Forever 21, Dream Team, Starface, Vegan Mob, and Volcom.

This event will be the first of many to come, with 24kGoldn hoping to replicate this kind of large-scale community program for many years to come. He seems very committed to supporting upcoming generations of students in his hometown. In a press release, Goldn commented on the origins of his passion for giving back to his community: “ “I remember laying out my first day of school outfit the night before as a kid and how having a fresh t-shirt, pair of jeans, or shoes made me confident and excited to go to back,” states 24kGoldn. “I hope we can give our Bay Area kids the same feeling and love for starting school.”

The artist brought this concept to fruition with the help of Project Level: a “socially active organization that nurtures the creative needs of at-risk youth and underserved Bay Area inner -city youth.” 24kGoldn has had a longstanding history with the organization. When he was a teen, 24kGoldn participated in Project Level’s programming when he was first launching his career. Since his beginning with the non-profit, 24kGoldn has forged an uber-successful career for himself as a multi-platinum artist with over 3 billion streams on songs like “Mood (ft. Iann Dior” and “City of Angels.”

Project Level is extremely excited for this collaboration with the Bay Area native. “We respect the role that fashion plays in our lives and the tone it sets for us in every room we walk in,” state Big Rich & Danielle Banks, the founders of Project Level. “What Goldn has created is an opportunity for youth to have access to items that will build upon their everyday confidence. When you look good, you feel good, and you perform at a higher level.”

This massive community wellness event will take place on Saturday August 28 at Districtsix in San Francisco and Sunday August 29 at Vegan Mob in Oakland, both from 12pm-4pm PST.
