Bella Hadid stars in Offset’s fashion-forward music video for his most recent single, “CODE,” featuring Moneybagg Yo.

The track, which revolves around the Migos’ rappers signature ominous trap production, finds Offset and Moneybagg Yo spitting verses back and forth with their signature staccato delivery. “I had shackles on feet, I adapt in the street (Adapt) / I drip sauce in my sleep (Drip, sauce), Baddest b***h on my arm,” Offset raps in his best verse.

The track is accompanied by a glossy video starring supermodel Bella Hadid. Hadid is unfazed as she’s stuck in the crossfire of Offset and Moneybagg Yo’s verses, hitting her best poses in stride with the beat. She pulls out her iconic stare, commanding the attention of everyone who watches the track.

The video, directed by Claire Arnold and styled by SheShe Pendleton, finds Hadid, Offset, and Moneybagg Yo dressed head-to-toe in Balenciaga, and wearing Balenciaga jewelry provided by Creative Director Demna himself. The blue-lit video highlights the bold hues found within the trio’s outfit many changes, from Hadid’s bedazzled swimsuit and feathered yellow jacket to Offset’s motorcycle jacket with neon stripes.  

“CODE” is the latest of many infusions of Balenciaga in major pop culture moments, as the brand reaches staggering levels of popularity thanks to Demna’s signature bold yet minimalist designs. Balenciaga’s recent return to haute couture after nearly a half-century’s break certainly put the pieces into place for their meteoric rise, as Demna himself works to break the codes of high fashion. 

Haute couture, combined with Demna’s appetite for celebrity and cultural crossovers such as this, have ensured that Balenciaga’s moment in the sun isn’t going to be over anytime soon.
