A Snowy Synergy: Gucci Vault Drops The Altitude Collection

Gucci Vault’s latest collection contemplates a disparate mix of voices, juxtaposing street style with the breezy energy of the ski slopes.

Next on the Gucci Vault agenda is their latest and greatest Altitude. An assortment of all things exploration, the Vault Altitude collection marries the streamlined, utilitarian aesthetic of ski gear and the romance of Alpine living with the expansive possibilities that urban street style progresses. Much like other Gucci Vault collections, this launch merely reflects a creative yet grounded approach to craftsmanship, seen through the collection’s willingness to generate new avenues for pushing the boundaries necessary for contemporary self-expression.

Created by the intangible Alessandro Michele (before his resignation), Gucci Vault is the ultimate hub for creative and explorative brand synergies. With eight capsule collections shaped explicitly and implicitly by the ski slopes, Vault merges a disparate mix of voices, from historic athleticwear purveyors to emerging ready-to-wear and accessories designers. This unification paves the way for various capsules to create a dynamic interplay where street style meets the snowy Altitude of the pistes in a unified chorus that speaks loudly through color.

The limited-edition Vault Altitude assortment includes exclusive ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, jewelry, and home accessories from eight labels selected for their artistry and unshakeable commitment to craft. Following in tandem with the launch is sports titan HEAD, who is showcasing a vibrant selection of performance wear that plays with the brand’s name. Swedish brand Yniq is offering a range of ski goggles elevated by ecstatic colors. Moon Boot puts forth a collection of iconic moon-landing-inspired footwear. Introducing elegant knits crafted in Downtown LA, The Elder Statesman proposes an exhibition showcasing a vibrant mix of weaving techniques. Sea plays with vintage-inspired detailing and technical fabrics to create a feminine wardrobe highlighting Alpine motifs. London-based jewelry designer Bleue Burnham creates cloud-inspired designs featuring SkyDiamond, diamonds made from atmospheric carbon. Italian jeweler Panconesi presents signature styles elaborated in neon enamel and Diamante stones. Finally, Gui Rosa returns to Vault with new punk-inspired crocheted accessories. Together, the brands have developed a selection designed to cover any terrain, from snowy peaks to city streets.
