Wrapping up his very busy year, A$AP Rocky just released a music video for "Tony Tone," the popular track off of his third studio album, TESTING, released in May. The Harlem-born rapper now jet setting across the globe to fashion shows in Japan and arena tours in Europe brought it all the way back his nest, roaming his old stomping grounds in this music video that reads as a home video. Opening with a kid's birthday party in the intimate digs of a family apartment, the personal tone is immediate and apparent. Straightaway, the air of innocent celebration is cut with an abrupt knock at the door--literally. Trippy scenes of strippers and weed ablaze follow, stirring up a different impression of Rocky's New York roots, but still one that he dedicates the track to.

Explaining in a video with Genius, the rapper aimed to produce an ode to Harlem without explicitly naming the hood. Instead, Rocky set out to draw different stories from his memory bank in this anthem of hometown glory. See below for the full video.
