Pharrell’s creativity knows no bounds. When he isn’t helming Louis Vuitton as their Men’s Creative Director, he’s pushing the boundaries of wellness through his label Humanrace. Known for its beautifully designed products, always circulating around living an intentional life, the wellness brand is linking with adidas today to launch two colorways of the Adizero EVO SL.

In celebration of the brand and its commitment to the practice of living intentionally in every way, adidas and Humanrace hosted an immersive wellness retreat at Piaule last week to take the kicks on a test drive as part of an overall routine. Over two days of relaxation and intentional reset, attendees took in everything offered by the boutique hotel and spa in the Catskills. From a run led by Kwasi Kessie, to breathwork, sauna sessions, mineral plunges, and restorative Glow Facials developed by Pharrell’s longtime dermatologist, Dr. Elena Jones, the retreat was an inspiring reminder to emphasize recovery’s importance to performance.

“Humanrace is about transforming the everyday into the intentional–by creating tools that champion a way of living where individual and collective well-being are inseparable,” says Pharrell Williams. “With the Adizero EVO SL, Humanrace and adidas are bringing intention to running and the act of recovery. Every run with the Adizero EVO SL is a chance to align mind, body, and purpose, creating moments of performance in service of being well.”

Running in the EVO SL is like gliding, with the LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam underfoot delivering a uniquely smooth experience. The shoes are meant to reimagine running as not just a sport, but part of an overall practice catered around intentional caring for the body, mind, and spirit. Retailing for $160, the Humanrace Adizero EVO SL by Pharrell Williams is now available in a limited release on Humanrace.com, with the official launch through adidas scheduled for September 13.
