We here at V love a special edition capsule collection from experienced brands and designers, and we know you do too. This time, mens outwear expert Alpha Industries is partnering with San Fransisco menswear brand Taylor Stitch on a collection that reimagines Alpha Industries’ classic jacket styles.

Collaborating on updated styles of the Indigo M-51 Field Jacket and the Raven ALS/92 Liner, the M-51 is a hundred percent organic cotton and the ALS/92 is a mix of recycled nylon, cotton, and recycled polyester accents.

A perfect blend of Taylor Stitch’s core values on responsibly made clothing and Alpha Industries’ classic silhouettes and styles, the two jackets in this collection are a straightforward display of teamwork and craftsmanship.  

Now, this collab has a special twist that should pay off in the long run. As we all know, the fashion industry is unfortunately a major environmental pollutant that produces a lot of waste, but Alpha and Taylor Stitch have taken a smart approach to this complex issue. This collection offers customers a “funding period,” in which customers can pre-order these stylish jackets from TaylorStitch.com so that they can manufacture the products accordingly and avoid overproducing.

Launching October 19th, these jackets will be available for pre-order until November 17th. In December, the pre-sold jackets will ship, and pending how many were ordered in this 30-day trial period, the jacket may release for sale.
