Saturated with woolen overcoats, lightweight leather shorts, and varsity jackets, Mike Amiri’s Spring-Summer collection evokes an attitude of wellness and ease that is quintessentially Californian. 

Throughout, AMIRI infuses their signature relaxed tailoring with rock ‘n’ roll references. The emphasis on easy wearing mirrors California’s laidback vibe — tan leather parkas and nylon hoodies provide casual, yet sophisticated outerwear. All the looks were paired with AMIRI’s Skeleton and Bone Runner sneakers that provided a streetwear boost, which gave the collection an air of cool effortlessness. 

The tribute to West Coast culture was not lost in the details. The accessories progressed the island imagery, invoking coastal escapism. Bucket hats were seen in every print, rendered in crochet, cotton, and Italian leather. Not to mention the bags, uniquely present in this runway collection was the series of basketballs as over-the-shoulder bags.
