Anti Social Social Club Unveils Another Unexpected Collab Capsule

Welcome to the Club.

After an unexpected collaboration with USPS—yes the official United States Postal Service, Anti Social Social Club is back with yet another unforeseen team up. ASSC has partnered with Boys & Girls Club of Metro Los Angeles for its latest capsule collection.

The streetwear brand was founded in 2015 as a creative outlet for Neek Lurk who deals with depression. ASSC was designed for others who also struggle with mental health issues and don’t feel accepted. In areas of Los Angeles, where marginalized communities have limited access to mental health services, the BGCMLA provides support with on-site resources.

“Youth success, good character and healthy lifestyles are among the core values we strive to promote,” says Veronica Jimenez, Vice President of Operations for Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles. “We are pleased to align with a partner that understands the challenges that our youth face and is committed to their achievement.”

The World Health Organization reports that mental health conditions account for 16% of the global burden of disease and injury in people aged 10–19 years. There is a need in our society for more education and resources that address these issues—especially for youth. ASSC announced via Instagram that 100% of proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Metro of Los Angeles to support mental health and wellness of members.

The ASSC x BGCMLA collab features both logos from the brand and organization on a cap, T-shirt, and school supplies.  The capsule will be available on the Anti Social Social Club’s website at July 4, 8 a.m. PST. Check out the pieces below.
