Armani Exchange is sponsoring the renovation of five public basketball courts in the central and surrounding areas of Milan.

In partnership with Milan’s city council and Italian manufacturer Maipei, the brand’s latest venture reflects Giorgio Armani’s personal passion for basketball. This project brings high-end designs onto the courts and reinvigorates public spaces in desperate need of repair.

This project is the latest in Armani’s longstanding record of public service. In the last two years, the designer launched a company-wide reforestation initiative, designed a Fiat electric car, served as Ambassador for Responsible Tourism at the UN, and received honors at the PETA Fashion Awards.

Armani’s basketball venture extends the company’s legacy of ethical business and reimagines public sporting venues as spaces for public art. This sponsorship also guarantees future maintenance of the five remodeled basketball courts, ensuring sustainability for decades to come.
