Xander Zhou is the first Chinese designer to be showing his seasonal collections during London Fashion Week. With a background in industrial design, Zhou is at the forefront of a new wave of young Chinese designers crafting a new menswear aesthetic domestically and internationally. For his Fall 2020 collection, the designer took his fascination with quantum physics and futurism and translated it onto clothing—turning models into creatures from parallel universes.

Makeup-wise—contact lenses and lots of face paint; clothing-wise—puffer jackets with zigzag edges, cozy turtlenecks, graphic and color block shirts with a streetwear vibe. Check out our exclusive backstage images in the slideshow below:
