Taking inspiration from the classic military and workwear styles is the new Spring 2020 collection by Billionaire Boys Club (BBC), Pharrell Williams’ premium streetwear brand. Utilitarian garments like the C-1 Survival Vest, Tropical Field jacket, the Souvenir Jacket and the Type 2 Denim Jacket are adorned with elements signaling messages of peace, the BBC mantra and floral embroidery for an unexpected contrast.

“SEEK INNER PEACE” is a key message embroidered on the iconic Souvenir Jacket — a reminder for the importance of knowing oneself. There are plenty of other notable pieces, such as a Khaki two-piece workwear machine-embroidered set with a hand-stitched appearance and an authentic military vest printed with BBC elements and finished in wax-coated twill fabric.

“The delivery is a combination of loosely Western-inspired patterns mixed with camo to make a unique BBC pattern,” shared Joseph Au, the designer for the label. “The French terry fabrics are washed and treated for soft hand feel mimicking an older, worn knit. This combined with the military camo tones offers a layered color palette, creating a unique range of looks within the collection.”
