Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Quentin Tarantino's names grouped together feels like the beginning to one of those "three guys walk into a bar" jokes — only this is not a joke nor drill. Pitt has officially been cast to star alongside DiCaprio in an upcoming Tarantino film titled Once Upon a Time In Hollywood.

Once Upon a Time, according to Sony, will be "a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor…Sharon Tate.”

In addition to the the two renowned actors, Oscar-nominated star Margot Robbie has been tapped to play the role of Sharon Tate. The world will have to wait until August 9, 2019 to see the film in theaters, which will mark 50 years since Charles Manson and his cult committed Tate's murder.

In a statement per Deadline, Tarantino said, "I've been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969 when I was seven years old. I'm very excited to tell this story of an L.A. and a Hollywood that doesn't exist anymore. And I couldn't be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff." Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will also mark 10 years since DiCaprio, Tarantino and Pitt last worked together in the 2009 film Inglorious Basterds.
