After parting ways with its former creative director last month, Italian menswear label Brioni has tapped Justin O’Shea to fill the position. O’Shea, who has no formal training as a designer, formerly served as the fashion director of German e-commerce retailer MyTheresa, a position he's occupied since 2011. His appointment echoes recent shakeups at other large brands that are aiming to create more innovative and communicative approaches to present their collections and overall image. With his unique outlook and experience as a leading industry buyer, O’Shea is sure to bring some flair to the classic house.
