Burberry reveals the next chapter of its TB Summer Monogram campaign in a story of limitless adventure, as landscapes are celebrated and transformed with the season’s new summer-inspired colorways of the house’s iconic Thomas Burberry Monogram.

The Thomas Burberry Monogram was first unveiled in August 2018, designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci and British art director and graphic designer Peter Saville. The first Thomas Burberry Monogram collection was launched in May 2019 with a campaign starring Gigi Hadid with a second TB Summer Monogram collection launched in July 2020 with a campaign starring Kendall Jenner.

The new TB Summer Monogram collection was first revealed on July 12 with a campaign starring the iconic supermodel Naomi Campbell with Tisci as the designer. This year’s evolution of the TB Summer Monogram collection features lightweight womenswear, menswear, and unisex pieces including nylon coats and jackets, silk sets and dresses, swimwear, stretch-jersey bodysuits and leggings, cotton hoodies and T-shirts, and accessories printed with the Thomas Burberry Monogram.

Reimagining the house’s longstanding heritage of exploration, nature melds with technology on a journey of discovery as the Thomas Burberry Monogram is cast across four new global landscapes, each with its own breathtaking beauty.

Leave it to Burberry to travel to four different destinations around the world to celebrate their TB Summer Monogram. Here are the magical locations the quintessential British label chose.

First stop on the list: Taylor Park Reservoir in Colorado, United States

The night sky sparkles as drone lights create a giant ‘TB’ motif – reminiscent of nature’s fireflies, created by new technology. Color waves sweep across the lights to represent the three new colorways of the TB Summer Monogram collection.

Second stop: Newgale Beach in South Wales

On the endless sands of Newgale Beach, renowned land artist Jon Foreman builds beautiful Thomas Burberry Monogram rock sculptures with texture and dimension using natural materials in the colorways of the new TB Summer Monogram collection – the coastline becoming his canvas.

Third stop: Qinghai Province, China

Set against the other-worldly landscape of the Chaka Salt Lake and Wusute in China’s Qinghai Province, paramotors guided by TB Summer Monogram sails swoop over the unique, endless panorama, boldly contrasting with the region’s extraordinary natural beauty.

Fourth and final stop: Hainan Province, China

Across the horizon of China’s spectacular landscapes of Boao and Wanning in Hainan Province, the TB Summer Monogram floats between the sky and the waves as surfers are lifted by the printed kites. A free-spirited summer sport enhanced by the power of nature.
