Burberry Released Reusable and Sustainable Face Masks

Be safe in style.

As we gradually continue to reopen more public spaces, we must always wear a face mask wherever we go. Which means that finding a mask that combines both style and antimicrobial technology is key—turns out Burberry just released the right mask for you.

The British luxury brand designed a face mask that features its iconic check pattern while providing Particle Filtration Efficiency. The Burberry masks are constructed from revalued cotton and enhanced using antimicrobial technology. There are two colorways available, the “Archive Beige” or “Pale Blue,” both in the vintage check.

Both mask options come with a matching travel pouch constructed with the same antimicrobial technology and additional colors are expected to launch in fall. Not only will you be safe in style, but you will also be supporting a good cause. A portion of the sales will go to the Burberry Foundation Covid-19 Community Fund, which continues to provide PPE, as well as assistance to food banks and healthcare charities globally.

“We are proud to be donating 20 percent from the selling price of each face mask to the Burberry Foundation COVID-19 Community Fund operated by The Burberry Foundation (registered charity number 1154468) to support communities impacted by the pandemic globally,” the brand stated publicly. The organization was established in April this year for employees and partners around the world to support local communities in need.

Burberry has also made donations to vaccine research, food bank charities and repurposed its Castleford factory in Yorkshire to manufacture non-surgical gowns for medical and care workers, while also sourcing surgical masks through its global supply chain. More than 160,000 pieces of PPE have been donated thus far.

The luxury brand masks are available now from the Burberry web store priced at $118 USD.
