Adidas and Japanese streetwear mainstay BAPE debut a new collaboration corralling the world’s most beloved sport into the sartorial spotlight. Merging adidas’ intrinsic performance technology with BAPE’s signature aesthetic, the latest soccer capsule aims to celebrate the universal appeal of the game, all the while infusing traditional sportswear with an aptly updated creative tonic. 

Adidas’ Predator Elite FT Firm Ground and the F50 Elite Firm Ground loom large as collection standouts. The former, known for its iconic fold-over tongue and legacy on the pitch, is reimagined in BAPE’s signature green ABC CAMO, complete with gold Three Stripes detailing, shark graphics, and co-branded tongue accents, while the latter presents a sleeker silhouette. Its upper fades from blue to pink, adorned with clear star prints, a medial shark graphic, and alternating blue and pink sockliners. 

Beyond footwear, the collection also introduces a full range of apparel designed with the transition from field to street in mind. Camo jerseys, shorts, and tights reflect the sport’s technical roots, while graphic BABY MILO soccer tees lend a touch of playfulness. 

Accessories include an ABC CAMO duffle bag and a soon-to-be-released BABY MILO shoulder bag, while the adidas Samba is reinterpreted with a bold BAPE update. Once designed for indoor soccer, the adidas Original now swaps the traditional suede toe box for a rubber SKULL STA face and features an asymmetric design and gold foil branding.

To bring the collaboration to life, the streetwear brands have tapped Brazilian football icon, and Real Madrid legend, Marcelo Vieira, as the face of the campaign, as the line’s global appeal and genre-crossing design signal a new chapter in the evolving relationship between fashion and football.
