Suits, formal wear, and casual ensembles comprise Canali’s material collections, but it is a selection of analyses, development goals, and quantitative strategies that define its recently announced Sustainability Plan, an expansion of its efforts first launched in 2022. The luxury Italian menswear label introduces its latest environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives with a measurable commitment aimed at addressing each issue in accordance with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 agenda.

The plan, which outlines an array of tangible actions in support of ecological transition, sustainable development, and the creation of shared value for consumers and communities alike, is significantly data-driven, built on analyses from the OEF (Organization Environmental Footprint) and PEF (Product Environmental Footprint) in combination with extensive internal consultation.

The family-run company, now in its third generation, has highlighted several key pillars including Product and Organization Sustainability, Governance Systems, Employee Training, Youth Employment, Sustainable Culture, and Engagement with Local Communities.

Canali’s Sustainability Plan will be updated regularly on the company website, under the ‘Canali Care’ section.
