Casablanca and New Balance Debut the New 327

Casablanca will be the first to collaborate on New Balance’s brand-new silhouette, the 327.

Luxury menswear brand Casablanca and Boston-born sneaker brand New Balance, have announced a collaboration, the first of its kind to be exact, on New Balance’s brand new 327 silhouette sneaker. Inspired by New Balance’s archive of ’70s trainers and Casablanca’s founder and creative director, Charaf Tajer’s French and Moroccan heritage, the new 327’s boast a balance of luxury and sporty.

With a ’70s Italian sports car-inspired perforated leather the suede details, and hues of clean white, elegantly contrast a flame-like orange and tennis court green. Who says a shoe can’t transport you to a travel destination? Tajer states that, “The design perfectly matches the aesthetic of Casablanca, it’s the ultimate leisure shoe.” Designed in Paris and made in Casablanca, the sculpted sole of the shoe is the reimagining of an iconic product, with a twist. Staying true to the original shoe, Joe Grondin, the Collaboration Manager at New Balance says, “The 327 has many classic features that take inspiration from our archives but is tweaked just enough to provide something new and exciting.”

Casablanca’s Moroccan aesthetic is a fusion between refined and relaxed while New Balance was driven to provide sneakers designed to actually fit. Together, you get the best of both worlds; the ultimate luxury sneaker. You’ll never need another pair.

The Casablanca x New Balance 327 will be available on April 4th in two colorways globally for a retail price of 150.00 USD.
