It’s been one week since A$AP Rocky was detained in a Swedish prison over accusations of serious assault, and people are not pleased.

The rapper was arrested on site after volunteering to go to the police station for questioning over a seemingly self-defense-related incident. The confrontation occurred on June 30th in Stockholm. Before his arrest, Rocky shared a video showing two men hounding the rapper and his team on the streets. In the video, A$AP Rocky, his bodyguard, and fellow performers plead with the men to leave them alone.

Since the artist’s arrest, his manager, John Ehmann, confirmed TMZ’s report of the Swedish prison’s extreme, dismal conditions. “The conditions of the facility are horrific and include 24/7 solitary confinement, restriction of amenities for the most basic of human functions, lack of access to life-sustaining food as well as unsanitary conditions,” Ehmann posted to his Instagram.

A Change.org petition to release the rapper has garnered nearly 400,000 signatures as of noon eastern time, one week after Rocky’s arrest. Countless celebrities have also voiced their frustration with the issue on social media, using the #JusticeForRocky hashtag. Post Malone, Shawn Mendes and Jada Pinkett Smith offered their support by sharing the petition. Tyler, The Creator, ScHoolboy Q and Lil Yachty took to twitter, claiming their perpetual boycott of the country. The entire A$AP MOB chimed in, as well.
