The holidays are here, and Coach is once again leading the way with its festive campaign, The Gift of New Adventures—a celebration of self-expression, curiosity, and everyday bravery. Featuring a cast of new and returning Coach Community members, including global ambassador Charles Melton, the campaign unfolds through a series of cinematic vignettes that cast the brand’s signature accessories as loyal companions—pieces that accompany their wearers through epic adventures and uncharted territory, becoming symbols of confidence and individuality along the way.

Captured in both moving images and stills by photographer and director Dan Beleiu, the campaign spotlights a curated lineup of Coach icons: the beloved Tabby bag—reimagined in new, softer silhouettes alongside its classic shape—plus the Empire, Brooklyn, and Mott Messenger bags from the brand’s New York family, as well as the versatile Teri and Nolita styles. The leather goods are paired with highlights from the winter collection, mixing new-season pieces with Coach’s timeless staples—think Teddy coats, shearling puffers, flocked dresses, leather jackets, and the effortlessly cool Soho Sneaker.

To mark the launch, V sat down with the Warfare and May December star and Coach ambassador Charles Melton to get the inside scoop on his recent adventures, Coach favorites, and what he’s looking forward to this holiday season.

V MAGAZINE: The Gift for New Adventures centers on personal courage and self-expression. What did courage look like for you during the making of this campaign, and how did it challenge or inspire you personally? 

CHARLES MELTON: Courage for me meant unplugging from the pace of a project and stepping into uncertainty. On this campaign it showed up as being outdoors, discovering new landscapes and letting that energy seep into the frame. I love camping before or after a project because being in nature gives me space to breathe, clear my head and reconnect. In this shoot we leaned into that feeling of movement and discovery and infused it into pieces like the Mott Messenger and Soho Sneaker.

V: Coach’s campaign captures those quiet but powerful moments of reconnection and change during the holidays. Can you share a personal holiday memory that felt like a turning point or new beginning for you? 

CM: I’m especially looking forward to this holiday season. I’ve had fewer opportunities to spend time at home this year, and having a moment with my family and loved ones means a lot. Since we haven’t been together much lately, I’m grateful for the chance for us to just hang out and enjoy each other’s company.

V: This campaign is rooted in storytelling through style—how do the featured pieces, like the Mott Messenger or Soho Sneaker, reflect your own approach to fashion and identity? 

CM: My approach to fashion is intentional and polished, which is why the Coach Mott Messenger works perfectly. It’s easy, relaxed, and the ideal grab-and-go bag for my everyday essentials. And the Coach Soho Sneaker seamlessly transitions from day to night.

V: As someone who’s constantly evolving as an actor and creative, what new adventure or risk are you currently embracing in your own life?

CM: Right now, I’m embracing an adventure where I don’t have all the answers yet. Creatively I’ve stepped into roles and projects that continue to challenge me as an actor. It’s exciting to collaborate with artists I admire, to do work that pushes me and matters, and to shape my identity as an artist and remain curious. 

V: What’s one COACH piece you couldn’t go without? 

CHARLES MELTON: I spend a lot of my life on the go, traveling from one country to another, so having something reliable matters. The Coach Mott Messenger has been that piece for me. It’s classic, dependable and keeps everything I need in order no matter where I am.
