Rounding up the few things we know about Donald Glover's film

There isn't much to know about Donald Glover's film yet. He and his team have successfully kept the project a secret, which helped because of the lack of Wi-Fi and remoteness of shooting in Cuba. Day by day, however, as the release date approaches there seems to be more information about it coming out.

We now know that the name of the film is Guava Island; that the premiere will be at Coachella a night before his headlining performance and that it will also be available to stream this Saturday on Amazon Prime free for 18 hours, once on Amazon Switch and live on the festival's YouTube channel.

In an exclusive interview with some of the people that worked on Guava Island by Vanity Fair, it is now confirmed that both Rihanna and Letitia Wright are part of the cast and that Hiro Murai was a part of the production. The Amazon Studios movie only has the small trailer below. A picture posted by Glover on his Twitter with him holding up his finger to his lips at a group of children could be one of the only images we have of Guava Island, or maybe just another coded message for anticipated viewers. A certain thing that will happen, like anything Glover is part of, is that it can't not become an overnight classic. We're living in the last few days of pre-Guava Island.
