You know those basketballs with the smiley faces? They’re made by Chinatown Market, and the brand has already remixed their signature ball in nearly every way imaginable. Nearly. Now, they’re turning to luxury with a little help from Swarovski.

The iconic basketball, and a miniaturized version, are to be completely coated in Swarovski crystals. Even the smiley face and classic basketball lines are made from carefully placed black crystals. The brand promises that the specialized crystals will glow under UV light, creating a unique piece of day-to-night décor. Hypebeasts all hook their houses up with UV right?

The crystal collab also extends to t-shirts and hoodies as well, splashed with a 2D version of the exclusive smiley ball. The brand said they wanted to collab with Swarovski so they could make an aspirational piece for fans who have followed for years, and hopefully years to come.

Chinatown Market’s fanbase exists at the intersection of sports and streetwear, with most fans leaning towards one side or the other. The Swarovski basketball does the same, combining basketball and luxury goods.

The basketball and mini-version will retails for $10000 and $5000 respectively, while the hoodie is priced at $90, and the t-shirt at $40. Fans can purchase the items when the collab drops at 2pm ET today, available at Chinatown Market online.
