Universal Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Reminders of Him, the new adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2022 best-selling novel. The film, set to hit theaters on March 13, 2026, marks the latest Hoover story to make the leap from page to screen following It Ends With Us and Regretting You.
The trailer introduces Maika Monroe as Kenna Rowan, a young woman seeking redemption after a tragic mistake sends her to prison. Upon her release, Kenna returns to her Wyoming hometown hoping to reconnect with her daughter, only to face resistance from her late boyfriend’s parents—played by Lauren Graham and Bradley Whitford. Amid the tension, she finds unexpected solace in Ledger Ward, a former NFL player and local bar owner portrayed by Tyriq Withers.
Directed by Vanessa Caswill (Little Women, Love at First Sight) and co-written by Hoover and Lauren Levine, Reminders of Him also stars Rudy Pankow, Lainey Wilson, and Jennifer Robertson.

Reminders of Him arrives in theaters next spring, continuing Hoover’s cinematic streak—and giving fans one more reason to believe in redemption.
