For the 8th installment of our CreatiVity program in partnership with Quadio—a new social streaming platform dedicated to showcasing the best new college music—we are curious about an artist that goes by the name, Yoder. 

Since Yoder picked up a guitar at 8 years old, it has been hard to categorize him. The multi-instrumental artist jumps barriers through his genre-bending sounds. Producing his first album in high school, his interest shown in hip hop, rock, soul, and funk simultaneously. Throughout the years, Austin Yoder would make the transition from a producer of instrumentals to a solo artist. Continuing his growth throughout his first year of college, his newfound freedom also allowed for further exploration into what kind of music he wanted to make. Yoder’s entertaining career working for kids’ birthday parties inspired his music video behind “Broken In Pieces.” The bedroom pop single is the lead single off his EP Kerblappy and continuing to progress his sound.
