In a recent interview Argento said that Daft Punk “are my admirers, they know all my cinema”. He went on to explain that “They heard from French friends that I was shooting a new film and called me [to say], ‘We want to work with you.” He also explained that they’ve read the script and think it’s one of his “most interesting.” The film is set in Rome, it’s a crime movie about a Chinese girl and a boy. Argento’s Daughter, actress Asia Argento will feature in the movie. The soundtrack will be Daft Punk’s first release since their 2013 album “Random Access Memories”, which won them a Grammy.
