Renaissance, ruckus, and royalty is the current business Dolce and Gabbana is in, and we are here for it. An embroidered, dry-clean only feast was presented during Men’s Fashion Week in Milan, piling a runway full of bright young things — and in all the living color you can imagine at that. A diverse parade of sleek, charismatic, and untouchable models unveiled a very to-the-wind, over-the-top, and dare we say, extravagantly ‘extra’ 111-piece collection.

A Dolce and Gabbana suit will forever remain a staple in the world of men’s fashion, so it’s no surprise to see that slim tailoring and exciting use of vibrant colors and textures on the runway,  illuminating D&G’s iconic strengths and holding fast to the tradition and legacy of the fashion haus. Boldly and unexpectedly, the presentation transitions into a completely different direction as sweaters emblazoned with "L’AMORE E BELLEZZA" and "King’s Angel" slogans, and sequined bottoms, as well as a  denim waistline-d sleeved fur coat, appear. This fresh, semi-street style meets gaudy glamour aesthetic creates an infectious, exuberant wonderland on the runway, methodically proclaiming youthful anthems with ease.

In true fashion week form, Dolce and Gabbana know how to put on a show. This presentation, however, is seemingly pointing the legendary haus towards a new horizon — one with more risk, more animation and of course, unmatched flamboyance.
