While everyone with social media is currently reeling from the viral firestorm that was the “In My Feelings” challenge, Drake’s already looking ahead towards his next move. Taking on a project outside of the realm of music, Drake is officially set and confirmed to executive produce the new HBO drama series, “Euphoria”, starring actress and singer, Zendaya.

Based off an Israeli TV show of the same name, “Euphoria” will follow a group of students as the navigate the complexities of growing up, like sex, drugs, social media, and more. The cast, along with Zendaya, includes Maude Apatow, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Sydney Sweeney, and more. From the looks of the teasers and description, the drama seems to follow a Degrassi-like storyline with a darker, more mature twist.

While it might seem unexpected for the household name when it comes to modern rap to explore the avenue of Hollywood, according to an interview in the Hollywood Reporter, Drake sees this dabbling as a natural transition for him as a creative.

"I'm sure I'll stop [making music] one day," he said. "When it starts to feel like I'm making it up. Hopefully I'll catch it before I ever get there, right? But right now it feels like we just started, so I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. But I do plan on expanding—to take six months or a year to myself and do some great films."

With a superstar cast, and rap’s biggest sweetheart behind it all, keep your eyes peeled for the release of one of HBO’s most highly anticipated shows.
