Dean and Dan Caten kicked off the new year with their Fall/Winter 2022/23 collection in Milan at Men’s Fashion Week. The collection’s assemblages embodied the show’s conceptualization with a fashion-forward flair giving rise to longing for a destination.

This feeling translated to the collection’s attire, further evoking ambition and adventure despite not knowing the journey ahead. Lustrous yellows displayed on two-hued puffer coats also made appearances on attire accessories, including knitted winter flap hats, oversized backpacks equivalent to luggage, and satchels that elicited aircraft seatbelts crossed buckles and all.

Camouflage tones immaculately collided with ones aglow. Army greens, beiges, fire hydrant reds, magentas, and marmalade orange made their debut on the collection’s hooded and quilted bomber jackets with occasional denim peaking from underneath and patterned V-neck sleeveless knits and round collared ones. This scheme also reflected the collection’s other articles, including (denim) cargo and velveted pants and dazzlingly embroidered nearly knee-length, puffer, and leather shorts.

The collection parallels the brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection, which represented its lighthearted mystique and edginess with pieces that signified fairy wings and similarly embroidered and puffer styles, all coming together to convey their dynamism and individuality.
