The Legend is a completely new shoe for this collection; however, it isn’t without a past in the brand. Born of elements that made the 551, the first ever Dsquared2 sneaker, the icon it is, Legend is presented as a hybrid sneaker that marries two apparently very different movements: running and trekking. This results in a completely versatile shoe that can adequately meets the requirements of everyday urban life. The sole is composed of the highest grade TPU, while the body is surmounted by two straps in leather and completely encased in an intricate mesh of laces — bringing together the functionality and style of the shoe. It is available in two variants: either with a single or a double band on the side, another nod to its proud heritage from the historic 551.

The Boxer is characterized by a clean, almost retro, silhouette. With a leather body and rubber sole, this new version sports an internal raised sole for a better fit — an upgrade from previous iterations. It features a variety of patterns, from a giant maple leaf (a celebration of the brand’s – and the twins’ – Canadian roots), to an optical 3D print, as well as more classic and minimalistic styles, such as monochrome hammered leather with a contrasting rear strap. With a wide range of color and detailing options, this vintage inspired shoe has something for everyone.

The Bubble’s motto: “When in doubt, go big.” This shoe exemplifies the playfulness and ironic exaggeration that distinguishes the Caten twins. Based on a trekking shoe, the volumes are exploded into a chunky, imaginative hybrid that never loses track of its initial intention. The juxtaposition of colors and materials make it a 3D, almost cartoon-like, dream. The foundational element is its namesake: the semitransparent and chromatic bubble inside the rear of the sole. So fun and funky!

The Bumper, much like a bumper car, is a hefty and solid-looking shoe. But with this sneaker, no sacrifices need to be made; built with ultralight materials and a distinctive two-tone EVA sole giving it a graphic vibe, this shoe is functional and stylish. In all its versions, this sneaker is characterized by a bold minimalism that gives way to decorations in its versions with the giant maple leaf or with a handwritten inscription by the twins on the side of the sole.

The second member of the Icon models is the Icon Basket, the exaggerated and loud version of the Cassetta. In both its high-cut version featuring a velcro strap and its low-cut laced variant, the oversized ICON logo is placed not only along the sides but also under the sole. So you can leave your mark wherever you go. This shoe is truly a bold declaration of individuality, meant for being all-in and not holding back.

The Run DS2 is a runners dream. With an innovative double-density sole, each step is gentle and cushioned, meaning you can run for miles without sacrificing comfort or performance. Breathable materials, technical lining and an internal sole also improve comfort and fit — basically, this shoe is meant to be like a pillow for your feet. The shoe is available in both low and high-cut, for a more robust appearance, while soft colors and contrasting elements give it an undeniable stylishness.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Maple 64. This unmistakable design is marked by a sole that grows on the rear end into a maple leaf, embracing the heel until the very tip of the shoe. But that’s not the only distinguishing feature of this shoe. An ultralight internal sole and breathable materials make this model extremely comfortable. And, of course, similar color palettes create a wearable, every day shoe that you can pair with just about anything.
