You might know BEOMGYU as a member of the K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (commonly abbreviated as TXT), famous for their genre-bending melodies and high-impact stage sets, but the 24-year-old singer’s latest foray into the solo-sphere of musical output is a markedly more personal venture. 

For his first solo project, BEOMGYU has released a curated mixtape alongside a self-written track, “Panic,” a moody, yet uplifting, ballad bolstered by punchy drums and electric guitar riffs. The piece, largely inspired by BEOMGYU’s own journey in finding comfort through music, is a heartfelt call to listeners — a potent message to persevere. The thoughtfully executed endeavor not only reflects the singer’s internal landscape, but also introduces fans to a version of BEOMGYU unseen up until now.
