This past weekend, Vogue Hommes unveiled an exhibition devoted to the work of street style photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce, better known as GarconJon, as part of London Fashion Week Men’s.
Guests including musician Dougie Poyntner and model Ryan Barrett stopped by the Covent Garden space to celebrate the British photographer’s work and with beats mixed by DJ Terry Donovan set the scene for the evening.
Pryce has been involved in street style photography since 2008. His work has been published in an array of international publications across the board. With the help of fashion editor Julian Ganio, Pryce curated the exhibition as a glimpse into his decade-long career. Most of the photos were taken during fashion weeks in London, Paris, Milan, and New York.
“I think one of the issues is we live in a world with so many images, so making a moment feel special is a real challenge,” said Pryce of the curation process in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily. “So my intention is to, hopefully, find something or a story that someone else is telling.”
