On September 16th, Fear of God debuted its new design – The Essential Full Mesh 59FIFTY Fitted caps. Drawing inspiration from the baseball training caps in the last century and the unique character of the vast American West, the fitted baseball cap can be seen as a defining piece symbolizing American sportswear.

According to Fear of God, the fitted cap is designed from a rare 70s spring training baseball cap. By infusing the elements representing the inimitable American West, the brand successfully reinterprets it into the modern context. Three colorways,  “Black,” “Navy,” and “Walnut”, are now available for the cap. Fear of God’s F script logo is embroidered on the front of the full-mesh top panels, while the Major League Baseball’s Batterman emblem is sewn on the back. Actor Danny Ramirez is invited to join and design the looks of the caps. His images also appear on the posters of this collection. Wearing the fitted caps on a horse, Ramirez’s images delivered the wild west vibe of the collection clearly to the viewers.

As the son of a former MLA player, Fear of God’s founder, Jerry Lorenzo, has grown up with baseball and formed a strong bond with this beloved sport. By giving design integrated fashion with the baseball profession, Fear of God suggests the brand’s deep root in modern American culture and its authentic tie to the western frontier culture.

The Essentials Full Mesh 59FIFTY Fitted caps are now available at Fear of God.
