First Trailer Debuts for Colin Kaepernick’s Six-Part Netflix Series

“Colin in Black and White” premieres on October 29th.

The six-part Netflix series “Colin in Black and White” has debuted its first trailer. The series, created by Colin Kaepernick and Ava DuVernay, stars Jaden Michael as a young Kaepernick, and depicts the athlete and activist’s teenage years.

Nick Offerman and Mary-Louise Parker play Kaepernick’s adoptive parents, Rick and Teresa. Kaepernick makes appearances throughout the series, serving as a narrator while his ideas about race, class, and culture growing up are explored.

The series premieres on October 29th on Netflix.
