Frank Ocean’s long awaited followup album to his 2012 Grammy Award winning album Channel Orange is (supposedly) coming this Friday to Apple Music. After an obscure video released on Instagram yesterday that had us all wondering whether or not the album was due soon—after a year long delay—it seems like we were correct in our assumptions.

According to the same source that leaked the release date—who may or may not be an “unauthorized” source—the singer is said to be releasing a music video as well as a printed magazine to go with the album.

Boys Don’t Cry will remain exclusive to Apple Music for a couple of weeks before being released on other platforms. This is not a surprise, considering it seems to be the cool new thing to release your album on exclusive platforms like Apple Music and Tidal before releasing to the public (and by cool new thing, we mean a way for artists to actually make money off of selling a record!).

This year the artist has been featured on Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo, James Blake’s The Colour in Anything, and starred in Calvin Klein’s Fall 2016 campaign—so hopefully he keeps his momentum going with the new album. Stay tuned for more and watch out for the album Friday.
