The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s second studio album dives into a variety of styles and personas.

Gabriel Garzón-Montano drops his second studio album titled “Agüita.” Released through Jagjaguwar, the album follows 2017’s critically acclaimed “Jardín.” Two of the songs off the album, “Someone and the title track, were rolled out with music videos prior to the album.

The bilingual album sees Garzón-Montano exploring different musical styles. There’s latin flavor, R&B, funk, even influences of dream pop. The 10-track album is a sonically pleasing experience with just enough left turns to keep you excited, while still all staying in sync. The album features a single collaboration with German-born Theo Bleckmann.

Garzón-Montano has said prior that he explores three different personas on this album: the Latino Urbano hitmaker, the debonair leading man, and the wistful impressionist. These three sides come together to form an A-B-C structure on the album.
