Gucci has once again stepped foot onto the blue and green court, unmasking its latest Gucci Tennis collection in a campaign that perpetuates cinematic prestige and sun-drenched intermissions. A continuation of the House’s longstanding affair with the sport, the collection pulls from archival designs of the 1970s that reconfigure classic tennis whites with Gucci’s signature aptitude.

Matched against the balmy glow of a tennis club at golden hour, the campaign captures transitory moments: a hush before a match begins, an exchange of charged glances, the quiet power of poised confidence. The collection blends performance with polish.

Women’s pieces are crisp like fresh water, and subtly paired with an iconic web stripe. Men’s polos boast pronounced 70s-era collars and a clean-cut silhouette. Accessories play up the nostalgia with metallic aviators, retro headbands, and duffle bags in GG Monogram canvas evoke a vintage athletic charm.

The real ace? An exclusive collaboration with HEAD: the limited-edition Gucci x HEAD tennis racket. Not only a performance tool, this racket behaves as a visual and tangible statement. The frame is laced with Gucci’s Web stripe, while the string bed boldly features the Interlocking G emblem. Crafted for both control and power, it includes an anti-vibration dampener, proving that style and substance aren’t mutually exclusive.

Housed in a blue case with a zip pocket and adjustable strap, the racket echoes the campaign’s ethos: fashion meets function in the most grand way. This isn’t the first time Gucci and HEAD have teamed up – last year’s duffle bags for brand ambassador Jannik Sinner caught eyes in Paris. But with this latest drop, the partnership continues to redefine what sport-inspired style can look like.
