From playing a starry-eyed quarterback in horror-drama film Him to an affluent target in slasher legacy sequel I Know What You Did Last Summer, actor Tyriq Withers has suspense-filled roles down pat. But in the upcoming Colleen Hoover adaptation Reminders of Him, he’s trying something new. 

Withers stars as Ledger Ward—love interest to Kenna Rowan, played by Maika Monroe. Still reeling from the consequences of a fatal car crash, Kenna meets Ledger after her release from prison. Ledger, a local bar owner and former NFL player, is a catalyst for healing and self-discovery. As the story continues, their lives become irrevocably intertwined. 

Directed by Vanessa Caswill, Reminders of Him is set to debut in theaters on March 13. With the premiere just two weeks away, it’s fair to assume that Withers is short on free time—but who could pass up a seat at the Burberry show?
