GmbH, the brainchild of Berlin-based designer duo Benjamin Alexander Huseby and Serhat Isik, held its Fall 2018 show during Paris Fashion Week Men's. The collection, titled My Beauty Offends You, combines rigged structures and rudimentary materials with a monochromatic scheme that paints a politically charged picture.

The line itself featured delicate knitwear, patent leather pants, loosely tailored jeans, and the occasional homage to dirt bike attire. While some of the tops featured were simple in style, Huseby and Isik kept even the smallest pieces interesting by mixing up textures. The chainlink tank top and fleece pullover both called to mind a vivid picture of connection across differences – a message both Huseby and Isik wanted to portray in their work.

Heralding back to their migrant roots, the FW18 line was drawn out of Berlin's competitive and debaucherous ways, yet saturated with social awareness. The duo asked of their line, "How do we protect ourselves?" The line suggests a solution: by proving your beauty. See images from the collection in the slideshow below.
