Golden Goose Partners with Olympic Bronze Medalist Cory Juneau for a One-Of-A-Kind Campaign at Tokyo 2020

After winning his first bronze Olympic medal, Cory Juneau has paired up with Italian luxury brand Golden Goose

Golden Goose partners with top-ranked U.S. skater, Cory Juneau, for an exclusive collection at Tokyo 2020. “Skateboarding gives me a sense of family and I’m grateful for that,” Juneau said, “Thank you to everybody who has supported me and help me through my career. This is just the beginning. Excited for the future ahead.”

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics is the first year the Summer Games has had Skateboarding to compete in the Olympics setting, making Juneau’s win even more memorable.

“The minute we met Cory we knew that he perfectly embodied the values we praise and share in the Golden Family,” says Silvio Campara, CEO of Golden Goose, in a press release for the campaign. “A light-hearted, humble, and hard-working guy ready to take on his biggest challenge. We are extremely proud for his victory at Tokyo 2020 and to be with him through this exceptional step in his career.”

For the competition, Cory Juneau wore a Golden Goose exclusive One-Of-One Pro sneaker at Tokyo 2020, debuting the sneakers on the global stage.An initial limited drop of this one-of-a-kind “skaters only” sneaker is now available at www.goldengoose.com.

To celebrate Jeneau’s first Olympic medal, during the Venice Film Festival on September 6, Golden Goose along with the iconic Italian skateboard brand Bastard will reveal their iconic skate bowl and bring it to the Venice Lagoon for an exclusive performance featuring Cory Juneau and other key skating figures.

The team up consists of two sneakers. The first pair are distressed white and grey sneakers with a touch of salmon pink and Golden Goose’s iconic star. The second pair is almost the exact same design but on a purely silver sneaker with touches of blue.
