Early in 2017, Gucci announced a partnership with Major League Baseball to be unveiled during the next Fall/Winter season, confirming a renewed commitment to luxury street style.

The brand remained tight-lipped about the collaboration until releasing the Pre-Fall lookbook in December, which revealed the New York Yankees as the team of choice alongside the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants. The pieces made their debut during Gucci's avant-garde showing at Milan Fashion Week, where severed heads and dragons stole the headlines.

All of the above is due to the imagination of creative director Alessandro Michele who can be thanked for, among other things, the added Italian flare to the American team logos. Scroll through the gallery to take a peek at the styles.
