With skateboarding becoming an official Olympic event for the first time in 2021, GUESS releases the 2021 GUESS Originals Summer Games collection, featuring stand-out skaters Alex Midler, Boo Johnson, Zach Saraceno, Ish Cepeda, Briana King, Dayana Young and Illegal Civ’s Nico Hiraga who recently starred in the skate film, North Hollywood

The collection represents GUESS’s global imprint on fashion by leveraging vintage graphics from its iconic archive. Each graphic was revived from its 1989 GUESS Worldwide collection. While keeping the original graphics the same, the capsule collection modernizes the styles - the chosen styles and graphics go beyond paying homage to its history and highlight the need to establish unity and peace amongst all.

For GUESS, enzyme washes and soft prints are important to create the authentic American Sportswear heritage. Pricing ranges from $12 to $128, the collection is for both men and women. Color-wide, classic Americana red, white and blue color tones are balanced out by solid colors like black, gray, orange and yellow. Together, they provide the collection with more summery vibrancy.

The men’s collection offers an array of striped and solid long and short-sleeve tees, sweatshirts, sweat shorts and sweatpants as well as a satin bomber and denim jacket. The women’s capsule incorporates a selection of cotton dresses, crop tops, bodysuits, biker shorts and a denim vest and shorts and is rounded out by a variety of accessories including trucker hats, bucket hats, socks, fanny packs and backpacks.

The 48-style collection consisting of apparel and lifestyle accessories will be available beginning July 15, 2021, in select GUESS retail stores globally and guessoriginals.com.
