Following two years of cancellations due to Covid, Coachella returns this spring with its familiar California feel and A-list lineup. Held on April 15-17 and April 22-24, 2022 at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, Calif., the popular music festival boasts an impressive collection of musicians from household names to up-and-coming artists. Among the headliners are Harry Styles, Kanye West, Billie Eilish, and EDM group Swedish House Mafia. The lineup, confirmed by Billboard after an official poster made its rounds on social media, comes after a series of retractions from previous headliners. Travis Scott was dropped from the program following the deaths of 10 attendees at his Astroworld festival on Nov. 5, and Frank Ocean—who hasn’t performed at the festival since 2012—is now pushed back to 2023. In the face of Omicron, Coachella moves forward with its 2022 plans, promising another two weekends of good food, desert vibes and plenty of music.
