Hero Tiffin, who you may recognize as Tom Riddle from Harry Potter and The Secret Life of Flowers will be appearing in the film adaption of After, a book series based on One Direction fanfiction. He and his After co-star recently spoke about Eurovision, Horrid Henry, snakes and the story behind being cast as the young Voldemort in the J.K Rowling film franchise for VMan.

Set to come out in April, After, is the first film of Anna Todd's book series inspired by Harry Styles. The army-wife living in Texas found a serendipitous online following after frequently posting chapters of One Direction fanfiction back when the group was at the height of their career before splitting and pursuing solo work. Todd worked as a makeup counter assistant at Ulta beauty and lamented over not having any friends of her age in the area. Her enthusiasm for the British boy band and the connection she felt with the 1D online community was what encouraged her to start posting her fiction on app Wattpad.

The response generated enough following and activity to alert Wattpad directors, eventually leading to them representing her as their client and helping Todd land a book deal with Simon and Schuster. After is now a #1 best seller series, has been translated into multiple languages and in April will be a motion picture following Tessa Young (Langford) and Hardin Scott's (Tiffin) vociferous love story.

There are echoes of classic romance novel Wuthering Heights in After, such as the British Hardin's (changed from Harry) mysterious, deep allure and fiery temper that closely resembles Heathcliffs unpredictable moods. "Tessa should hate Hardin, and she does… until she finds herself alone with him in his dorm," reads the book's description. It also sounds very similar to Fifty Shades of Grey, because of Hardin's gradual corruption of the good-girl Tessa and her innocence. One that has caused some unfavorable opinions online concerning the unhealthy nature of the pair's relationship.

After, as the books are, will be a guilty pleasure of those that partook in all things One Direction, fanfiction and those that like a cheesy and somewhat questionable plot line with some soft porn thrown in.
