IDK pays homage to his hometown, PG County, with a new release, “495.” Named after the famous I-495 beltway in the DMV, the rapper recruits some of the biggest names in the area to come along for the ride. Well-known DMV artists such as Rico Nasty, YungManny, Big Flock, Big Jam, and Weensey unite to form the ultimate DMV crew. Collectively, the rappers attack the Juicy J instrumental in their unique artistic styles however the sense of unity between the DC/Maryland/Virginia area is heard. Authentic lyrics make the song cohesive and this passion project shows off DMV talent. "This is one of the first times I’ve seen the DMV on one song; it just felt really authentic when we put it together," IDK reflects.

Produced by GRAMMY-winning artists Juicy J, IDK, and Acyde of No Vacancy Inn, the song's high energy and hard-hitting lyrics are featured in BASKETBALL COUNTY: In The Water, Kevin Durant’s new documentary. The basketball star who also proudly reps the DMV area appointed IDK as the music supervisor and composer on the forthcoming documentary. Narrating the journey of the basketball star who emerged from the DMV area, watch a brand-new clip of the documentary set to release May 15th, here and listen to "495" below.
